Lately, I’ve been hearing more and more about gratitude. It doesn’t hurt that we are approaching the main holiday which reflects gratitude, but I think it’s more than that. It seems that many of us are considering what’s really important to us.In our household, we’ve had a roller coaster year of emotions: weddings of two of my sons, several weddings of dear friends, upsets of jobs and moving households, and the death of my Mom almost a year ago. My boys made many trips home this last year to celebrate and to say goodbye. Consequently, they’ll be staying in their respective homes this Thanksgiving (in Brooklyn, Aspen and Portland). And my husband will be visiting with his daughter in New Jersey.
So, I find myself celebrating the Holiday in Cleveland with my sister’s family this year. I’ll be spending lots of time at Fine Points during the week of Thanksgiving. This is the time of year when many of you come during the Holiday Stroll and Small Business Saturday. You bring visiting family and friends to Fine Points. Out-of-towers return to us year after year. For this, and so much more in my life, I am grateful.
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
